The custom case designer lets you create simple cases quickly and easily. No need for the typical “we'll get back to you”. Put in the size you need, customise it to your needs, and you can see what it'll look like and how much it'll cost, there and then. No delay, no fuss. Then add it to your order as if it was an existing product. If you need something more complex than that, contact us with your idea, and we… will get back to you…
Turnaround depends on the product, queue and size of order. We make to order and focus on quality work. Simple custom cases and standard products are typically ready in a week. Complex builds vary. We will give a realistic timeline for any fully custom orders. We will also update you at every step of the process.
To ensure your order gets to you intact and within budget, larger cases have to be flat packed. Their weight and size make glueing cases together and shipping them impractical and very fragile. This way, they arrive undamaged and are less fragile when fully assembled, ensuring they will last and protect your collection for years to come.
A dry, soft microfibre or lint-free cloth will wipe away any dust clinging to the case. If you need to really clean the case, the same cloth with COLD, mild soapy water will work. Then dry immediately to avoid any water marks. DO NOT use any harsh chemicals such as rubbing alcohol, all-purpose cleaner or plastic cleaners.
It happens… We included extra brackets and screws in your order for this very reason.
All products are precision laser-cut to fit together perfectly and only in one way. If a part fits, it goes there.
Screws and brackets hold the parts together securely and allow you to assemble the case without pulling all the protective film off; once assembled you can remove the protective film, revealing a clear case with no fingerprints or scratches.
Just go easy on the screws; they are acrylic and don't need to be tightened down like normal screws. Finger-tight is perfect.
For larger cases, ask someone for help holding bigger pieces.
Double-check you have removed all the protective film; the acrylic sometimes comes with a clear film, instead of our preferred opaque film. Often indicated by a whole piece looking severely scratched.
The protective film is designed to take damage and absorb impacts. Even scratches that look deep are often non-existent on the final product. If there is a bad scratch on your order, let us know, and we will see what we can do.
Unfortunately, we do not. Our physical products are only available in South Africa. But for digital design work and online consultation, we are available to anyone anywhere.
We make our cases to the sizes given; please make sure you measure correctly and accurately when sending measurements or using the custom case designer. Compare your order to your received product, and if we have truly made a mistake, we will happily replace it for you.
Please note that the custom case designer uses inside measurements and gives approximate outside and inside dimensions on your order. Also account for material variation of 1 to 2 mm; if you are unsure, you can always add a few extra mm to your case before ordering it.
